Bodog Nation is and entertainment, technology and online gaming innovators founded in 1994 by Calvin Ayre. Today, Bodog Nation has become a brand which aside from online gaming included martial arts, coffee and Haydock Sports, making it an intellectual property licensing enterprise.

Originally, Bodog Nation mainly focused on the online gambling industry. In particular, a private online company called Morris Mohawk Gaming Group (MMGG) operated the Bodog. The company withdrew operations in the US after the passage of the anti-online gambling legislation in 2006. The company continued operating its online gamin services but only in the US, it only used Bodog for marketing purposes. In Feb. 2012, the Bodog.com website was sequestered by the US government and was indicted for illegal gambling and money laundering. The company was renamed Bodog Nation whose headquarters was relocated in the Philippine capital of Manila. The company continues to operate remote and non remote gaming in UK upon securing a license from the UK Gambling Commission. Bodog Nation Philippines was also reinforced by the launching of an online Poker Network which included renowned poker players like Tatjana Pašalić, Jamie Gold and Matt McCullough. At the moment the company also has offices in Seoul, Korea, London UK, Malaga and Makati and Quezon city Philippines.

Bodog Nation in Makati is basically a software and technical development group which provides software development and technical support services to the online gaming services of the company. Bodog Nation in Quezon city is principally a customer service delivery center providing customer support, telemarketing, and other outbound/ inbound contact services. The company provides services to English, Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai speaking customers and players from around the world.

He’s a Canadian sprint kayaker who won two Olympic medals
(including one gold medal) for Canada in 1984. He’s also been

the Chief and Council of the Kahnawake Mohawks for twelve years.
